ASDF at Closing Ceremony of the Closed Looped Cycle Production in the Americas Program

The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States, through its Department of Sustainable Development is hosting a Closing Ceremony of the projects under the Closed Looped Cycle Production in the Americas (CLCPA) Program. This is a program under the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA). This event will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 09:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Padilha Vidal room located in General Secretariat Building of the OAS.
ASDF's Director, Kevin de Cuba, the former Program Manager of the CLCPA Program, will participate in the final discussion panel to prompt discussion. In this occasion he will introduce the Circular Economy Platform of the Americas to the participants and elaborate about the next steps in how the OAS and other regional institutions can join the effort to transition toward Circular Economies in the Americas.
This public event will present the results of the projects of the program carried out in Colombia ‘National Strategy towards a Circular Economy’, Panama ‘Development of Panama Green Label’, and Trinidad and Tobago ‘Sustainable alternative packaging to replace Styrofoam’. The meeting will also serve as an opportunity to facilitate a dialogue to identify the opportunities for the promotion of Circular Economy in Latin America and Caribbean countries.
