ASDF and MBDC team up to promote Cradle to Cradle (C2C) in the Americas

ASDF is pleased to announce that it has established a partnership with McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) to promote, launch, implement and manage Cradle to Cradle® inspired projects in Latin America and the Caribbean to help the region to transition to Circular Economies.

 

Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) design has been made popular through the publication of the book “Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the way we make things” (North Point Press, 2002) by architect William McDonough and chemist Dr. Michael Braungart. Together they presented their ideas and conceptual framework of Cradle to Cradle® that has inspired many across the world to find ways to rethink and redesign products and services in an eco-intelligent manner to bring to the market place and facilitate the transition toward a global Circular Economy.

 

For several years, ASDF Executive Director, Kevin de Cuba and Board Member, Ruben Contreras have had the opportunity to work closely with the MBDC team in bringing about awareness and action to showcase the applicability and viability of C2C in the Americas through the Closed Looped Cycle Production in the Americas Program.
