A key challenge facing the Americas is the lack of available data and analytical capacity regarding environmental conditions and sustainability indicators. ASDF is dedicated to addressing this challenge through information gathering and analysis in both country-specific and regional levels.

 

ASDF assists governing bodies, from local to regional, in addressing existing primary data gaps on sustainability by harnessing those statistics. In order to measure and evaluate regulatory effectiveness over time, ASDF also helps decision-makers set up practical sustainability indicators.

 

As an official member of the UN Sustainable Development Network, and with its extensive network, ASDF is well positioned to become the repository for sustainable development statistics in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
